Axed judge Louis Walsh has given a tongue-in-cheek assessment of the new look X Factor, which has suffered a dip in ratings following the departures of himself and Dermot O Leary.
The new look panel has seen Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw join Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and the reception has been lukewarm with many viewers, with viewing figures plummeting to less than six million on Sunday.
Louis was speaking to Lorraine Kelly about the judges and worked in a sneaky joke where he forgot Nick’s name. At least we THINK he was joking.
He said: ‘I think Rita is good, she’s funny. Simon is good, he needs a few new lines. Cheryl is Cheryl. What is that other guy, what’s his name?’
