This priceless piece of Beatles memorabilia – the band’s first ever management contract – looks set to rake in the cash when it goes up for auction later this month.
The document, signed by Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, as well as manager Brian Epstein – could well fetch as much as £500,000 at Sotheby’s, where it will be featured in the auction house’s ‘Rock and Pop’ sale.
Which is hardly surprising, given it’s the contract which set the band on the road to megastardom, signed just four days before their first single Love Me Do was released in 1962.
