A contestant on the US version of The Voice has been found dead in his apartment.
The body of singer Anthony Riley, who appeared on the most recent series of the talent show, was discovered on Friday.
Anthony, 28, was mentored by Pharrell Williams during the competition and made it to the battle rounds.
He decided to exit the series early after apparently telling producers he needed to ‘deal with substance abuse issues’ and entered rehab soon after.
‘At the time, [being on the show] wasn’t working for me and I felt like I needed to go, instead of taking on more responsibility than I could handle,’ Anthony told Philly.com at the time.
