There’s a chirpy new face on the Casualty wards in coming episodes as former Emmerdale actress Chelsea Halfpenny signs up as new nurse Alicia Munroe. A positive energy, Alicia is new to the profession and is soon embroiled in a dramatic first day.
Pregnant Esther arrives on the ward, having gone into labour and it soon emerges that she is connected somehow to another patient, Tom, who has checked himself in with a head injury.
