Peter Capaldi claims there won’t be any romance between Doctor Who and his assistant Clara because it would be ‘completely creepy’.
The actor, who plays the 12th Time Lord, claimed it would be ‘inappropriate’ because there’s such a big age gap between him and Jenna Coleman, who plays Clara.
He’s 57 while she’s 29.
Capaldi told Radio Times: ‘It’s fine if you have young men like Matt [Smith] and David Tennant but as a father I felt it would be inappropriate.’
He added: ‘There’s no romance. But there’s deep love.’
