Elizabeth Banks is apparently working on a Charlie’s Angels reboot.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony Pictures is rebooting the female-led franchise, and Banks is in talks to direct. She is reportedly set to produce with her husband Max Handelman.
With Pitch Perfect 2 under her belt, Elizabeth has shown she’s a dab hand with kick ass female characters. The sequel divided critics and fans, but it raked in nearly $70 million at the US box office, giving her the second-largest opening ever for a female director.
