Jenna Coleman will reportedly be waving goodbye to the Time Lord as she heads off on her own time travelling adventure.
The actress has allegedly been snapped up for the title role in new ITV drama Victoria, a £10million series based on the life of Queen Victoria.
The Doctor’s assistant is said to be playing the Queen who took the crown aged just 18 and went on to be the longest reigning monarch spending 63 years on the throne, a record that stood until our own Queen recently beat it.
A source told The Mirror: ‘Jenna clinching the role has been a closely guarded secret. There’s a lot of excitement about the series.’
