Female characters in Disney films tend to look like very cute, baby-like dolls rather than real women.
Huge eyes, plump cheeks, small noses and thin lips. You know the drill.
One artist has taken it upon herself to change the faces of some Disney heroines to make them more realistic.
Using Photoshop and After Effects, Tumblr user The Nameless Doll has redone the faces to ‘practice my manipulation/anatomy skills’ rather than as a criticism of Disney’s style.
She said: ‘They are NOT meant to be “better than the original” or “what it should have looked like”, or serve as a general negative critic on the respective movies’ animation styles!’
