More bad news for Channing Tatum’s Gambit film – director Rupert Wyatt has dropped out of the project reportedly due to a timing issue.
‘I was very much looking forward to working with my friend Channing and the team at Fox, but regrettably a push in the start date now conflicts with another project,’ Rupert admitted in a statement to the press.
‘I thank them for the opportunity, and I know that Gambit will make a terrific film.’
Filming was due to commence in November but has now been pushed to March – no word on what project it clashes with for Rupert – but the film has actually been on Fox’s roster for several years, with Channing attached as both producer and lead.
