The subject for this week’s Hot Topic was suggested by reader Andrew J., who asked what impression it made seeing your first game and under what circumstances you played it. Do you still play it or its successors now, and how do they stand up?

Many readers could remember games stretching back to the eighties and late seventies, with Combat on the Atari 2600 and the Grandstand version of Pong being common starting places – along with the early 8-bit computers from Sinclair and Commodore.
