Mark Hamill wants you all to know that rumours of his near demise on the set of Star Wars: The Force Awakens have been greatly exaggerated and that filming actually went ‘splendidly’.
The Sunday Times reported that Mark, who is reviving the character of Luke Skywalker for the seventh Star Wars film, nearly fell to his death after slipping on the treacherous mountainside of Skellig Michael.
However, a recent tweet from Mark claims that ‘this story is completely untrue’.
‘Fabricated stories usually contain a seed of truth’, he added. ‘Didn’t so much as stub a toe on Skellig Michael. But thanks for your concern! #FalseNews’.
Well that’s good news!
