Actress Rachel Weisz says that the 007 agent should remain a male-only role, ahead of husband Daniel Craig’s last James Bond movie.
The 47-year-old Bond wife advised that women ‘should get their own stories’ rather than piggy-back on the tails of the traditional male role.
Speaking with The Telegraph, The Mummy Returns star complimented Bond author Ian Fleming for devoting a lot of his time on creating the 007 character ‘who is particularly male and relates in a particular way to women.’
