One of Oxfam’s celebrity ambassadors has stepped down from her post in light of the Haiti sex abuse scandal that has rocked the charity.
The charity’s staff have been accused of paying for sex from vulnerable people in third world countries.
The British charity is said to have concealed the findings of an inquiry into claims that staff used prostitutes while delivering aid in Haiti in 2011.
Good Will Hunting actor Driver, 48, said she was ‘nothing short of horrified by the allegations’ but has vowed to continue to work with vulnerable people and work against ‘social and economic injustice’.
