The sixth and final season of Downton Abbey has begun… but if Joanne Froggatt has her way there’s a good chance the Crawleys and their servants will be back on the big screen soon.
Speaking on the red carpet of the 2015 Emmy Awards, where she was nominated for outstanding supporting actress in a drama series for her role as Anna Bates, Joanne revealed she thought that constant rumour of a Downton film was ‘a great idea’.
‘It would be lovely and I would love to do it,’ she added, before admitting that ‘the difficulty would be getting everyone together’.
