Actress Mary Ellen Trainor has died aged 62.
The Lethal Weapon star passed away at her home in California on May 20, according to her close friend and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy.
She had had complications from pancreatic cancer.
Kennedy said in a statement: ‘Mare and I have been close since our days together as college roommates, and she even provided the introduction to Steven Spielberg that jumpstarted my career.
‘She was a great actress, warm friend and generous spirit.’
