Charlie Cotton finally left EastEnders tonight in a dramatic storyline which had viewers guessing whether Ronnie Mitchell would lose another baby.
Ronnie (Samantha Womack) and sister Roxy (Rita Simons) thought they’d outsmarted cheating Charlie (Declan Bennett) by teaming up against him.
Charlie had asked his sister-in-law Roxy to run away with him after Ronnie ditched him.
She appeared to agree but she was secretly reporting back to Ronnie.
Their plan soon fell apart when Charlie cottoned (sorry) on to them and tried to abduct his and Ronnie’s son Matthew.
