Director Paul King is reported to be in talks with Disney over the live remake of the classic 1940’s Disney Classic Pinocchio.
Already hailed for his work on the two critically acclaimed Paddington movies, Paul is reportedly the film company’s favourite choice according to Variety, after Bond Director Sam Mendes dropped out of the project last year.
The British writer and director seems to be a hit with a number of entertainment companies at the moment, as the BAFTA Award nominee has also been linked to the Warner Bros. adaptation of Willy Wonka.
