But he had the perfect chance last night to finally meet the 20-year-old, considering they were both at the same party.
Following the Brit Awards, Liam, 45, attended the Warner Music and CIROC Brits afterparty with son Lennon – while his daughter Molly Moorish also hit up the exclusive bash.
