Roxanne Pallett has revealed she’s done with acting after feeling ‘underappreciated’.
The former soap star said there were times where she was told to do implausible things in order to get a casting call.
The 35-year-old has been praised for her stage roles such as Janet Weiss in The Rocky Horror Picture Show and The Wedding Singer, as well as for her portrayal of Emmerdale local Jo Sugden.
‘I’ve been told to lose weight, get Botox and change my accent to get a casting,’ she told the Daily Star newspaper. ‘I wasn’t prepared to do that.’
