There’ll no longer be any new Hitman out this year, but Io haven’t abandoned their early access style plans.
The original idea for the Hitman reboot was that it would be released on December 8, as a digital download for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Except it would be one with purposefully limited content, which would be added to over the subsequent months.
A traditional boxed release would then follow sometime next year when the entire game was complete.
But according to a new blog entry on the official website the plan is to now include more content at launch then originally imagined.
