Anthony Daniels issued something of a retort to fellow Star Wars player Kenny Baker last week, after years of silence over accusations of being rude and standoffish.
Finally responding to Baker’s historic criticism of his off-camera attitude, Daniels told the Daily Mirror that Baker rarely actually appears on-set, saying: ‘I haven’t seen him for years. His name is on the credits as a sort of… I don’t know, a good luck charm, a courtesy. He’s a talisman.’
Daniels has acquired something of a reputation over the many years that he’s played C-3PO.
