List Of The Lost, singer Morrissey’s first novel, is out and apparently it’s not great.
On publisher Penguin’s website, Morrissey has described the book as ‘an American tale where, naturally, evil conquers good, and none live happily ever after, for the complicated pangs of the empty experiences of flesh-and-blood human figures are the reason why nothing can ever be enough.

Sure.
The Guardian’s review is quite unforgiving, slamming the work as offering ‘nothing but the astonishing feat, in a book so brief, of being boring.’
