One Direction’s triumphant return to the UK was sadly bogged down by technical difficulties on Thursday night.
The boys were singing the opening lines to hit single Night Changes when it became clear from the look on their faces that there was an issue.
Niall Horan stopped the performance and apologised before the boys starting berating ‘John’ – who we can only assume is their tech man – with Louis screaming back towards the stage: ‘It’s a joke, John!’
