The subject for this week’s Hot Topic was suggested by reader Owen, and was also inspired by the recent Horizon documentary, which proved that video games can actually be good for you. So we wanted to know if you feel games have helped you gain particular skills, such as problem-solving, spatial awareness, or improving hand-to-eye-coordination.
Inevitably it was the social aspect of gaming that was the easiest benefit to prove, with people meeting new friends and also gaining new hobbies, especially discovering new music or even learning to pay an instrument.
