Dane DeHaan’s new film Life sees the acclaimed actor attempt to take on one of the world’s most iconic stars, James Dean.
Dane stars alongside Robert Pattinson in the film, a compelling true story of the tentative friendship that developed between an eager photographer, Dennis Stock, and an up and coming actor called James Dean.
And he’s admitted that stepping into the shoes of James was ‘a huge challenge’.
No kidding!
Speaking to the Irish Examiner, Dane revealed he was ‘really nervous’ about taking on the role but ‘I just immersed myself in it as much as I could and I read as much about him as I could and everyone said something different about him which was interesting’.
