
Michael Fassbender has got the nation’s youth on his mind when it comes to his latest film.
The actor takes on the iconic role of Macbeth in Shakespeare’s classic tragedy, and he hopes school children will watch the movie in order to better understand and be inspired by the work of the Bard.
‘Shakespeare is a genius,’ Michael explains. ‘The one thing I kept saying to Justin is, “If we can inspire the kids, that would be wonderful.”
‘It’s an arrogant thing for me to presume that they weren’t already inspired by it but I’m talking from my own experience.
