Actress Emily Watson said she is too grateful for acting jobs to worry about equal pay.
Watson was speaking at the San Sebastian International Film Festival on Friday when she addressed the current issue of gender equality in the film industry.
She said that while there definitely was ‘a question to be answered’, she was happy to just keep her head down and carry on working.
‘In terms of equal pay, there’s obviously a question to be answered about how it’s divided up, but I don’t think it’s my personal quest’ The Hollywood Reporter reports her as saying.
‘I just feel so grateful that I do a job that I love and someone pays me.’
