
Mark Wahlberg has apologised to Pope Francis for his film Ted.
The actor hosted a concert for the Pope in Philadelphia over the weekend when he made the quip about his career choices.
He mentioned that a 14-year-old choirboy, who sang Pie Jesu at the event, told him he was a fan of the Seth McFarlane comedy.
Wahlberg said: ‘[H]e whispered in my ear that he loved the movie Ted…and I told him that was not appropriate for his age.’
