Jesse plays stoner slacker, Mike Howell, working at a 24/7 convenience store when he’s suddenly activated by a government agent and realises – slowly – that he’s actually a lethal sleeper agent with a special set of skills. Killing skills.
Still not sure how he went from the Big Lebowski to Jason Bourne, Mike must fight for his and his girlfriend Pheobe’s survival as the government agency that moulded him into a killer want him killed.
Think of American Ultra as Pineapple Express meets The Bourne Identity as we see Eisenberg kick some serious butt while getting high at the same time.
