Danny Boyle has revealed that Trainspotting 2 will start filming next year.
The director, who is currently promoting his new film Steve Jobs, confirmed that Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller and Robert Carlyle were all back on board.
He told Coming Soon: ‘It’s May and June next year we shoot and we’ve got a terrific script. We’ve got the four main actors all eager and willing to do it.’
Boyle previously said that the sequel to the 1996 hit would be his next project but only if the four lead actors managed to co-ordinate their busy schedules.
