It’s the live action The Lion King everyone wanted.
The scene where Simba takes on Scar in a fiery battle to the death is one every child of the 90s will remember. And it just got better, if slightly less ferocious.
Marcel is the little ginger kitty who stars in this epic remake created by YouTube user Gilbert Jalano as Le Roi Chaton, or The Kitten King, and takes on his adversary with pure gusto.
There’s less fire and death involved, but Marcel’s efforts to knock ‘Scar’ down a peg or two are commendable.
However, the clip ends just before the bad guy falls off the cliff a la the movie, so we’ll just have to assume the ginger moggie was as successful as Simba.
