Thought you’d seen the last of the Barden Bellas in Pitch Perfect 2? Well think again because a third film is happening.
Universal Pictures and Gold Circle films, who made the first two instalments in the hit franchise, have confirmed that they are ‘moving ahead’ with the threequel – with Kay Cannon, who penned the two previous movies, back on board to write the script.
There’s no word yet on whether Elizabeth Banks will return to direct the next film – or whether the likes of Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson will be back for more.
However Banks had previously hinted that the series could continue.
