An Italian artist has turned Marge Simpson, Betty Boop, Snow White and a whole host of famous cartoon characters into breast cancer survivors.
AleXsandro Palombo created the cartoon series after developing a rare form of cancer and becoming disabled.
He wanted to transform the popular characters into symbols of ‘hope, beauty and courage’.
Palombo, who used to work in fashion, told Buzzfeed: ‘Every woman is beautiful, even after a mastectomy. And every woman should know that.’
