George Clooney’s latest film is failing to take off at the box office and could result in a whopping £90 million loss for Disney.
Costing £116 million to make, with almost £100 million additionally spent on marketing and promotion, the studio has seen the sci-fi family film fall way short of expectations.
It was hoped that the star power of George Clooney combined with director Brad Bird, who previously had great success with The Incredibles, would be enough to launch the film around the world.
