GameCentral plays the long-awaited prequel to cult classic Mirror’s Edge and finds it a major improvement on the original.
One of the main themes of this E3 has been unexpected comebacks. The most obvious is Sony’s trio of blasts from the past, but from Gears Of War to Doom this year has been filled with older franchises making very welcome returns. But perhaps the only thing better than an update of an old classic is a flawed gem having a second chance to fulfil its potential. And that seems to be exactly what has happened to Mirror’s Edge.
