After a three-year absence from our screens (with the exception of a Children in Need special), The Great British Sewing Bee returned for another season of entertainment so wholesome, it rivals that of The Great British Bake Off.
After season four, Claudia Winkleman left the sewing bee for undisclosed reasons, and was replaced by comedian Joe Lycett.
The 30-year-old has already appeared in the likes of Live At The Apollo, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Would I Lie To You? and Celebrity Juice, so is no stranger to screen time.

The fifth series, which started airing on February 12 2019, was filmed at 47-49 Tanner Street, in London.

Up to series four, The Great British Sewing Bee was filmed at London’s Metropolitan Wharf on the north bank of the Thames.
Every week, contestants continue to flock to Tanner Street to face three new sewing challenges.
Their goal is to impress the judges Esme Young and Patrick Grant with their sewing skills, with a view to being the last one standing at the end of the series.
Episode five of the fifth season of The Great British Sewing Bee is on BBC Two on Tuesday night at 9pm.
