Louis Tomlinson and his family are sadly no strangers to tragedy.

Just two years ago, Louis’ mother Johannah passed away aged 43, and now his younger sister Félicité has died suddenly at just 18.
Reports have said that Louis has been left ‘devastated and distraught’ at the news of her death, which is suspected to have been the result of a heart attack.
As tributes and messages of support for Louis come flooding in, here’s a closer look at his family life.
Johannah Poulston
Louis’ mother Johannah sadly died after a battle with an aggressive form of leukemia in 2016.
Louis released a song, Two Of Us, in March to express his feelings of grief over her passing. Some of the lyrics include: ‘It’s been a minute since I called you/ You’ll never know how much I miss you/ The day that they took you/ I wish it was me instead/ But you once told me don’t give up.’
Troy Austin
Louis’ biological father Troy Austin divorced his mum when he was just a toddler.
Louis is currently estranged from Troy, who is currently battling cancer, and the pair reportedly haven’t spoken in over five years.
Mark Tomlinson
Mark Tomlinson was Louis’ step-father for most of his life, and as a result, Louis’ took his last name.
Mark was Johannah’s second marriage, and together they had four children – Charlotte, Félicité, and identical twins Daisy and Phoebe – before their divorce, which happened while Louis was still competing on The X Factor.
Charlotte Tomlinson
Charlotte Tomlinson, who also goes by Lottie, is 20-years-old, and the creator of Tanologist, a self-tanning product.
She’s also an Instagram influencer with 3.3million followers, and a model, having recently worked with clothing brand Revolve.
Félicité Tomlinson
Félicite was also a successful Instagram influencer and model, with 1.4 million followers, as well as a clothing designer.
On March 13, she suddenly passed away in her West London flat, aged 18, having suffered what is suspected to be a heart attack.
Daisy and Phoebe Tomlinson
The twins Daisy and Phoebe are 14-years-old.
They both live in Doncaster, where Louis was brought up, and are already amassing a substantial Instagram following with hundreds of thousands of followers each.
Ernest and Doris Deakin
In 2013, it was announced that Johannah was going to have with another set of twins, this time with her then fiance Dan Deakin.
The pair were just two-years-old when they lost their mother to leukemia. They are now aged four.
Dan Deakin
Johannah and Dan married in 2014, months after the birth of their twins, Ernest and Doris.
When she passed away, he said: ‘I thoroughly loved walking through life with her, and though five years was far too short a time, during that time we had so many lifetimes worth of happiness, adventures, and memories.’
Georgia Austin
Georgia Austin, 20, is another of Louis’ half-sisters, being Louis’ estranged father Troy Austin’s daughter from his second marriage.
Freddie Reign Tomlinson
In 2015, Louis announced that he and his now-former partner Briana Jungwirth were expecting a baby.
In January 2016, their son Freddie was born. After a custody battle with Briana, they reached a temporary settlement four weeks after Freddie was born.
