Queer Eye Season 3 drops on Netflix today, which means it’s been a whole year since Bobby, Karamo, Tan, Antoni and Jonathan sashayed onto our screens.
The Fab 5 has shown that Queer Eye is about more than just 60-minute makeovers because lives have literally been changed forever, since Series 1.
There’s been fresh starts, graduations, retirements and more cast weddings than you can shake a stick at.
So, before the binge-watch commences, spare a thought for the makeovers that came before, and find out just where our Queer Eye heroes are now.
Tammye (Season 2, Episode 1)
Queer Eye’s first (and certainly not the last) female makeover remains in the hearts of many Netflix fans. Since the show, Tammye has retired from seventh grade teaching at Smokey Road Middle School and we can now only assume, she’s a full-time goddess.
Meanwhile, Tammye’s son has been doing ‘wonderful’ work since Queer Eye and is on track to open his own funeral home and help more people suffering with AIDS.
Bitter sweet celebration tonight. We will miss our retirees: Mrs. Allen, Mrs. Patterson, Ms. Pierce, and Mrs. Hicks. Smokey Road loves and cherishes each of them. pic.twitter.com/0hDv6eApSF

Neal (Episode 2, Season 1)
Comedian Neal Reddy claims to have had ‘the best year’ of his life since meeting Tan, Karamo, Antoni, Jonathan and Bobby.
He’s done stand up in New York City and Las Vegas, ridden on a float at Pride and even walked in a charity fashion show (are you listening, Tan Francis?).
Once one of Queer Eye’s most resistant stars, Neal has embraced the physical and emotional transformation in his life and so far kept his beard and haircut suitably well-groomed.
Tom (Episode 1, Season 1)
Remember the squad’s first-ever makeover, Tom “You can’t fix ugly” Jackson? Well, Tom finally remarried ex-wife Abby in May 2018, after gaining the confidence (thank you, Karamo) to ask her to marry him again last March.
He scrubbed up pretty well on the wedding day, with a trimmed salt and pepper beard. Plus, on his off days, it’s clear that he still swears by Tan’s open shirt and tucked T-shirt tip.
It’s official, Abby and I are engaged. What a Netflix special the would be. If the Fab 5 planned and attended our wedding!!!!!!!!! pic.twitter.com/4KV4u9Rji4

AJ Brown (Episode 4, Season 1)
More romance has flourished since the Fab 5 worked their magic because AJ Brown and long-term partner Dre wed in secret last June, after getting engaged in February.
Fans will remember that AJ had kept his sexuality a secret from his stepmother but the couple is now out and proud and even doing very public red carpet appearances, with a few familiar friends.
The Fab 5 reunited with AJ + Andre, who revealed they’re now MARRIED! ❤️🧡💛💚💙 pic.twitter.com/R2XOUpY60v

Skyler (Episode 5, Season 2)
Transgender Queer Eye star Skyler Jay graduated The University Of Georgia in December 2018, 10 years after beginning as an undergraduate.
He then went on to sue the college for exclusions in the university’s health care plan that meant he was forced to pay out for his gender confirmation surgery.
Nevertheless, in transformation news, Skyler is rocking the six-pack better than ever.
William (Episode 2, Season 2)
YAS. Season two lovebirds William and Shannan finally tied the knot last July after getting engaged at the end of William’s transformation episode.
In pictures from their idyllic beachside ceremony at sunset, the couple seemed to have developed a keen eye for ‘his n hers’ Hawaiian style shirts.
Cory (Episode 3, Season 1)
This is not a drill: Cory has a beard now. Perhaps the most committed of all of the Queer Eye alum, Cory has been keeping fans up to date with his transformations on Instagram, including his use of filters, face packs and new facial fuzz.
What’s more, the police officer is still ‘close friends’ with Karamo Brown, with whom he shared an emotional bonding moment in the episode Dega Don’t.
‘Because of [Cory], I’m a little more open and a little less jaded when I see police officers,’ Karamo said in 2018.
‘It doesn’t mean I think all police officers are going to be good, but that doesn’t mean that all people are good. We still have some political differences, but as a whole, I see him as a human being and he sees me as a human being.
‘I see him as a father, he sees me as a father. That’s why we’re texting each other at eight o’clock in the morning.’
Sean (Season 2, episode 7)
Since the show, Sean Vanmeter has returned to arts school Piedmont College as a sophmore where he is continuing singing and song-writing after being home-schooled throughout high school.
In fact, Sean just released a new song called Falling in Love Every Day. PS, he’s still wearing those cowboy boots that Tan Francis loved so much.
