We knew that Mattel would put a lot of effort into their BTS dolls – the ARMY will not stand for shoddy recreations of their idols.
But the company has gone all out to make sure the dolls look exactly like the K-pop superstars they’re meant to represent – right down to the last dimple.
Mattel – the toy company behind Barbie and American Girl – has given a sneak peek at RM in doll form, by zooming in on his dimple.

While the picture posted by Mattel only showed a section of the doll’s face, ARMYs instantly knew it was Kim Nam-joon thanks to his trademark dimple, and the caption provided.
The toy company played with RM’s opening line from IDOL, tweeting: ‘You can call him an artist, you can call him an idol…’
And needless to say, fans were psyched:
The previous day, Mattel teased the whole boyband in doll form, showing their silhouettes on stage with the caption: ‘No more dreaming. Something big’s coming… ‘
It’s believed the BTS dolls will be dressed in the outfits worn by RM, Jimin, Jin, V, Suga, Jungkook and J-Hope in the IDOL video, so you know they’ll be stylin’.
The dolls, out this summer, will be $19.99 (£15.60) each, so ARMYs had better decide their bias or they’ll have to splash out $140 (£109) for the set.

The new line with Mattel comes as BTS prepare to drop their new album, Map Of The Soul: Persona.
And it already looks like it will smash records upon release, as BTS have broken their own record for pre-orders.
Music distributor Iriver report that the album racked up 2,685,030 stock pre-orders in just five days, annihilating their previous record of 1,511,910 for Love Yourself: Answer.
They just keep getting better.
BTS will perform the title track from Map Of The Soul: Persona as guest musical act on Saturday Night Live on 13 April, the day after their album is released.
The group will be the first K-pop group to get the honour, on a show hosted by Emma Stone.
