After putting on a brave face throughout Strictly Come Dancing, Katya Jones confirmed she is no longer speaking to Seann Walsh after they were pictured kissing outside a London pub.
The dancer appeared on Lorraine today with her husband Neil as the host went in on Katya, calling the Russian star a ‘dafty’.
But three months on from the Strictly Come Dancing finale, which was the last time we saw Katya and Sean(n) together, she’s revealed they have since completely cut ties, which is probably for the best.
‘You’re not in touch with Seann, I imagine?’ Lorraine probed, which, thankfully, was met with a firm ‘no’ from Katya.
Neil insisted after learning about the kiss that his first thought was to comfort his wife, and revealed Katya came clean before the pictures were splashed all over the press.
He said: ‘Strictly they were fantastic with me and with us all. They supported us all and they were helping us.
‘I think it was that shock factor. And then for me, it was just straight away I was actually more worried about Katya. I could kind of see what was going to happen and then I knew how strong everything was on the show and I was just like, “as long as she’s going to be ok”.’
‘It was a shock,’ he continued. ‘For me it was a major shock and I appreciated it of course that Katya told me, so I found out from Katya before I saw it in the news.’
If Strictly Come Dancing 2018 will be remembered for one thing, it was the kiss.
Seann subsequently split with his girlfriend Rebecca Humphries, who accused the comedian of emotional abuse and confirmed she would be taking the cat in an inspired statement.
As for Katya and Neil, they’ve continued to put on a united front and will be touring the UK in their very own headline show as a couple.
‘There’s worse things in the world going on at the moment,’ said Neil. ‘Every time it keeps coming up, anything happens and they mention it, I’m like, “Come on….”‘
Katya added: ‘Even the fact that we’re still talking about it. It’s like, we’re over it, I think everyone else is over it, let’s just move on.’
Lorraine airs weekdays at 8.30am on ITV.
