After returning from a tropical holiday in Thailand and missing last week’s day in court, Katie Price has finally fronted up to her hearing.
The 40-year-old wore a whole lot of fur as she strutted into Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday morning alongside a close friend, as the mother-off-five faced two counts of using threatening, abusive, words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
Katie has previously missed a court hearing while on her Thai holiday with boyfriend Kris Boyson, the reality star failing to appear before a judge.
The reality star kept her head down and her game face on as she held onto her phone, keeping warm in a black and tan fur coat and black fur hat. She finished off her courtroom look with a pair of leather-look trousers.
As she walked into the court house, she said to waiting photographers: ‘You must be bored of me.’
Pricey is accused of screaming ‘are you enjoying f***ing my husband?’ at ex-husband Kieran Hayler’s girlfriend Michelle Pentecost outside the gates of their children’s school.
The charge sheet for Katie’s court appearance accuses her of using ‘threatening or abusive words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress’.
Michelle, whose son attends the same school as Katie and Kieran’s kids Jett, five, and Bunny, four, claims that Katie caused a scene by allegedly screaming at her: ‘Are you enjoying f**king my husband?’
Kieran’s girlfriend reported the incident to police and two more parents reportedly complained about Katie to the authorities for shouting and swearing at them.
District Judge Amanda Kelly previously slammed the reality star for missing last week’s court date, saying: ‘I believe she hasn’t turned up today. She has something better to do.
‘This demonstrates a lack of respect for the court process.’
The judge said she was ‘tempted’ to hear the case in Katie’s absence, but instead adjourned the hearing to today, after the reality star said she was unavailable until the 18 March.
Yesterday Katie’s boyfriend Kris attendedMedway Magistrates’ Court in Chatham, Kent, as he answered a charge of using threatening behaviour towards a policeman.
Kris was accused of using threatening behaviour or language against a police officer on 9 October 2018, after Katie, 40, crashed her car following her boyfriend’s 30th birthday party.
He pleaded not guilty and will face trial on 31 May
