He might be about to win a whole new generation of fans as EastEnders‘ latest arrival, but there was a time when actor Paul Nicholas had his sights set on chart stardom instead.
Because back in that dim and distant time known as ‘the 70s’ the 69-year-old was more likely to be found showing off a few nifty moves – not to mention an impressive mop of blond curls – as he sang his way into the hearts of teenage girls everywhere.
In fact, he even notched up a few hits during the decade, with notable efforts including this jaunty little number, Reggae Like It Used To Be, which peaked at number 17 in 1976.
