The Dito Montiel-directed film also stars Bob Odenkirk and Kathy Baker, and is released in the US on July 10 with a UK release date yet to be announced.
Williams died in August last year. He was 63.
According to the BBC, before his death Williams described the film as a ‘beautiful, sad movie’ that was ‘powerful to do.’
Another of his final film roles was the comedy Absolutely Anything, starring Simon Pegg, in which he voiced a dog called Dennis.
