It may not be due to open for another six months – but Star Wars: The Force Awakens is already officially a record holder.
That’s because the second trailer for the film, which opens in the UK in December, has smashed the record for the most viewed film trailer on YouTube in the space of 24 hours.
According to Guinness World records, the clip notched up a not-to-be-sniffed at 30.65m views in that short space of time following its release online in April.
And it’s remained popular ever since, with its total number of views topping the 54m mark.
