She’s only just back from her honeymoon but Michelle Keegan already has her next acting role lined up – starring in the BBC One army drama Our Girl.
According to the Mirror, the former Coronation Street star – who recently married fiance Mark Wright – will take over from original star Lacey Turner when the series returns to screens in late 2016.
The paper reports that she will play Corporal Georgie Lane, an army medic stationed in Kenya in the series, which will begin filming early next year.
