Update:
Sony Europe has also just announced the ‘Ultimate Player Edition 1TB Edition’ for the PS4. It’s due to be released on July 15 in the UK, so presumably it’s the same as the new lighter version described below, just with a bigger hard drive. There are no price details as yet, but it should start turning up at online retailers soon.
[Update #2: Sony has confirmed that the 1TB Edition is just the existing PS4, not the new 10% lighter one – which is odd. Presumably that version, with the 500GB hard drive, will be out later in the year.]
