The BBC has released our very first glimpse of Doctor Who series 9 – and it’s a bit of a disappointment.
The 11-second clip, aired on BBC America, doesn’t give anything away about the upcoming series.
Instead, it focuses on the Tardis with the camera swirling around its iconic blue doors before zooming in on a sign attached to it.

It’s very much a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it kind of trailer.
Looks like we’ll have to wait for the full trailer to see Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman in action.
