TWICE has become the first K-pop girl group to land an original YouTube show.
Currently in production with their agency JYP Entertainment, it will offer their devoted fans a behind-the-scenes look at TWICE’s 2019 world tour.
Offering never-before-seen footage and in-depth interviews dedicated to all the members, this is a series ONCE won’t want to miss.
Describing the series, YouTube said in a statement: ‘Fans and music lovers around the world will have the opportunity to see the sweat, tears, and emotions behind TWICE’s success since their debut four years ago.
‘The show celebrates TWICE’s hard work and determination as they continue their path to grow as another global K-Pop sensation.’
The show will launch exclusively on YouTube in the first half of 2020.
TWICE recently embarked on their first ever north American tour, TWICELIGHTS.
JYPE confirmed last month that Mina would not be joining them on the road due to anxiety.
Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu went on to play the remaining dates.
The agency said in a statement: ‘Health of our artist is our top priority, so we will do everything possible to provide the best possible measures including medical treatment and sufficient rest for Mina’s recovery.
‘We ask for the sincere support of fans so that Mina can recover soon.’
TWICE debuted in October 2015, and have gone to be one of the most popular girl groups in K-pop, achieving huge hits with Cheer Up, TT, Likey, Heart Shaker and What Is Love?
The girl group has sold 3.75 million albums in South Korea, scoring seven number one albums on the Gaon chart.
