They say that we fall in love for a lifetime, a reason or a season. When it comes to Love Island, that can mean a season of a reality show.
With Love Island growing more and more popular each year, fans are on countdown until the next season starts – and some fans start counting down until the show ends to see how long it takes for some love birds to have their wings clipped.
Love Island 2019 has already lost its first couple, with Chris and Harley announcing on Instagram (where else?) that they’ve called time on their holiday romance.
Claiming not to have enough quality time together, the couple ended things on a positive note just a few weeks after leaving the show.
So let’s take a look at how the rest are coping with life away from the Island…
Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury
Adjusting to newfound fame and scrutiny might be proving hard for Molly-Mae, who has been on the receiving end of online trolls and death threats since leaving the show, but luckily she has a rock in her beefcake beau Tommy Fury.
The two are still smitten – and not shy about showing it.
Denying rumours of faking it for the camera, the two have enjoyed piling on the PDA online.
Ovie Soko and India Reynolds
It was smooth sailing for the two in the Island, and they’ve managed to avoid hitting a rough patch back home.
The couple – who came third on the show – have met each other’s families and gone on a double date with Amber and Greg.
Ovie is obvi India’s style – but if the rumours are true, soon he’s going to be styling it up in the pages of British Vogue.
Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins
It’s not just famous fans like Lena Dunham Maura’s been charming since leaving the show; Curtis jetted out to spend quality time with her in Ireland.
When he’s not taking off to see Maura, his career has been rapidly taking off too.
He recently joined the team on BBC’s The Greatest Dancer.
Anton Danyluk and Belle Hassan
Long distance means nothing for these two – who are taking things slowly but surely.
Anton is back in Scotland, making regular club appearances, while Belle is back in London – and moving in with fellow islander Joanna Chimonides.
They still make time for each other – and of course there’s a lot of social media sweetness between the two.
The same can’t be said for Anton’s relationships with his other castmates.
He – and his Mum – unfollowed Molly-Mae on the ‘gram recently – and he remains unapologetic about doing so, claiming they were never really friends.
Greg O’Shea and Amber Gill
The champions of the show continue championing the idea of true love for fans.
The two – whose victory was an unexpected delight for fans – seem to be going from strength to strength.
Newcastle’s newest sweetheart Amber flew out to Ireland to meet Greg’s family two weeks after the final, where he wasn’t too proud to pamper his queen on Instagram.
