Creamfields festival is set to get underway on Thursday with thousands of music fans getting ready to make their way to the event.
It was first launched in 1998 and has since grown into a four-day event with many attendees camping there throughout.
Creamfields mostly focuses on dance music, and many of the lead performers are often DJs producing a variety of their best dance mashups.
If you’ve got your ticket and have started getting ready, then here is everything that you need to know about where it is and who will be in this year’s line-up.
Where is Creamfields 2019?
Creamfields festival is being held in Daresbury, Cheshire, which is in the north of the UK near Manchester and Liverpool.
Anybody planning to travel to the event by train will need to plan ahead as Network Rail are set to be carrying out improvements to the East Coast Mainline during the Bank Holiday weekend in August, which could affect some travellers.
Those who could be affected include people travelling from London Kings Cross, Peterborough and the east coast of Scotland.
There is the option to drive with journey times varying depending on where you are travelling from, with London taking more than three hours, while Manchester will take just 40 minutes.
Creamfields offers advanced booking for parking if you purchase your festival tickets through Ticketmaster.
Coach and shuttle bus services are also available through the Creamfields website, but space may now be limited.
Who is in the Creamfields 2019 line-up?
Creamfields has several different stages, giving festival-goers plenty of options when deciding who they want to see perform.
Thursday will see the festival get underway, with four stages opening – Sexy By Naature, Cream, Axtone, and Rong.
On Friday there will be ten stages open, and then eleven on Saturday and Sunday.
Some of the top performers over the weekend include deadmau5, who will be on the Arc stage on Friday, followed by Calvin Harris on Saturday and Swedish House Mafia on Sunday.
On Friday other acts on stage include Tchami, Fatboy Slim and Tom Williams, while on Saturday The Chemical Brothers, Annie Mac and MK will be among those performing.
The Sunday event will include performances from Tiesto, Adam Beyer, Cirez D, and Oliver Heldens.
The full Creamfields line-up is also available on the official website, including details of what day and which stage they will be performing on.
